I'm watching raptors vs 76ers on nba league broadband now and notice i'm upload like 130 kb/sec. Apparently NBA league pass installs octoshape.exe on your system and it's a P2P program that they are using to distribute the feed to other ppl watching to save bandwidth heads up for ppl that have a bandwidth cap limit or something
yeah, I noticed that yesterday when I was testing the account. My bandwidth was being sucked dry, could not figure what program was doing it until i realized these cheap bastards were doing an upload simultaneously. they should reduce the damn price . . . .
I don't think you have to install it. I clicked "No" when it asked me to install it, but I'm still watching the game fine... unless it installed without me knowing.
Don't really matter for me, since other free stream TV program are using P2P program anyway. This one is better quality and it's legal. $85 for one season is decent. I assume you will watch more than 100 games.
weird that wasnt the case previous years, maybe since its a free preview they are doing that to save costs?
hmmm I just uninstalled it and went back to the site and clicked no and it's not uploading anymore anyone know why the nets game is blacked out
question about league pass for the computer... if me and some buddies of mine split the cost, will we all be able to watch it from different computers at the same time under the same login name?
Need to be careful if you do that. In the agreement (that stuff nobody read, I was bored and I read it yesterday), they said they reserve the right to terminate your service (they keep the money BTW) if you share your password with someone.
I didn't install the plugin and its choppy... Its only streaming at 14k/s on my pc, not sure if its my isp or nba.com youtube works fine
