I'm tired of hearing, Giannis plays on both sides. It's the same lazy reason Kobe Bryant was on the all NBA defensive team so many years even after he really wasn't an all defensive player.

Harden has played really really good defense this year.

Yeah, the "plays both sides" is so dumb...it's no true that Harden plays no D, and btw for some reason it didn't matter when they talked up literally everyone in the last 4 years, i mean, it didn't matter for Curry, Durant, Westbrook, Lebron, Irving...suddenly it matters :rolleyes::rolleyes:

I wish they could put Giannis numbers last year and this year to see if he really is the reason or main reason for the bucks improve season.

Also they don’t even count that the west is way tougher than the east and most western teams play each other 4 times instead of just 2 games.
So what’s tougher playing 4 games against the east or 4 games against the west.
One more thing is that we might be able to climb to the 2 spot and if the worriers lose a couple more we might “miraculously” land in the #1 spot. If that happens would they still say the same thing?

I stopped watching as soon as Fisher's mug showed up.

In future, please exercise caution when posting these videos.

They should ask LeBron how much fun he is having this season in the West.

Honestly, Fisher was tame about this.

The other jackass is the smug piece of garbage I'd punch if I ever saw him. Gets asked if Harden is MVP after mentioning his 50 pt triple double, and managed to not even mention Hardens name out his mouth and raved about Giannis for 20 seconds instead..

The viral YouTube video irrevocably killed Harden’s defensive reputation, regardless what he does on the court.

Never seen the media use so many excuses of why Harden shouldn't win MVP. He's dropped 53 30 point plus games, 28 40 point plus games, 9 50 point plus games and 2 60 point plus games, with Gordon, Paul and Capela missing a lot of games.

If Curry or Lebron had put up those numbers, the MVP race would have been over weeks ago.

The media is an extreme case of "I have answer, therefore i find reason"

Giannis has a very good case as well. Honestly you can easily find a lot of pro harden videos out there and if you were a Giannis fan, you’d be crying foul about the love harden has been getting. The MVP race this year is really something else, I hope harden takes it home again. Two time baby!

Glad she brought up Westbrook, because that historic factor was exactly why that guy won over Harden and now two years later and it's not an argument? Please. These guys pick and choose the arguments they want, nobody's consistent and the hate for Harden is real. That being said, Giannis if he wins it deserves it for sure, but it's the media that makes it so annoying since they don't present an honest case. Rex even said at the end, like Giannis is just my guy right now. So it's emotional.

The only case you can make for Giannis is he has a better record than Harden does. His overall stats are pretty similar to last season. Yeah, he's averaging 2 more rebounds, 1 more assists, and his FG% has gone up slightly. But I don't think that warrants him a MVP on an individual level. The coach and his teammates deserve big credit of why they're top of the east. The Bucks have been pretty much healthy all season, we haven't. We are also playing in a tougher conference. If we have a pretty much healthy squad, we're top 2.... most likely 1st with a similar record to the Bucks.

The fact that Harden's breaking records all over the place tells the story. Like Harden had a 50 point triple double tonight.... and that wasn't one of his best performances this season.

If he doesn't win MVP, it will be the biggest injustice in NBA history.

Neither Rex Chapman nor Derek Fisher were awarded voter selection ballots in last years' MVP race. I can't imagine that's changed.

I have been watching the games and have actually been impressed with Harden's defense.

#2 team defense since all-star break
    #2 individually in steals
    #1 individually in post defense

The "he plays only one side of the court" argument has been incorrect for a while.

Preach! Harden vs Giannis shouldn’t even be a discussion. We all know if James Harden was Lebron James this would be a unanimous MVP, and that’s because whatever Giannis is doing can’t even compete with what Harden is doing.

Giannis ain’t even the MVP of his own damn team. If not for Coach Bud coming on board, I have no doubt that Milwaukee would be the 6th seed at best in the East and would be another 1st round exit EC squad. Milwaukee completely revamped their offense and defense, and people want to attribute that to Giannis. Lol, please...
