"try watching the game, XXXXX just shot jumpers all game long" you know this same line gets posted after every single fakers game
They had to make those calls on Howard. Three of them were elbows that were flagrant worthy. He got away with a lot more fouls, including one on the final play. He's basically a foul machine but seems to be able to stay in most games.
Lol shouldn't Dwight be getting flagrant fouls in return for the type of hits he takes? That guy needs to worry about his overrated flop city team instead of obsessing about the Lakers.
The grizzlies didn't get screwed by the refs in this game. As someone else mentioned, they basically called howard for so many fouls that he was a non-factor the entire game. The grizzlies just lost, plain and simple. Even that last drive in the paint by conley, howard played it clean. Also, Zach hasn't been involved in our offense for a while now, so it isn't as if he's drawing a lot of fouls.
Lakers need to play a team that usually shoots high number of FTs. Then we'll really see if they're favored.
http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400278234 Look at what happened when they played us in Houston back in January. Rockets doubled their free throws. They didn't have Dwight, and that severely cuts into their free throw totals.
Congratulations... You found one example. Now wrap your brain around the fact that the disparity in that game is almost what the Lakers AVERAGE the whole season (+8, by far the biggest in the NBA)
My point is that having Dwight gets you a very disproportional amount of free throws. Orlando has always been near the top of the league in FT differential, and that was with a team that was literally Dwight and a bunch of 3 point shooters who rarely went to the line on a consistent basis. Now that he's on the Lakers, with Kobe who already draws a good amount of fouls, yes, the differential is going to look lopsided. It's not surprising in the slightest bit.
ORLY? http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/t...me/sort/avgFreeThrowsMadeDifference/year/2012 Look who's at the top. Look where Orlando is. And before tou go on about how Dwight missed some games, look at the year before too.
