It's amazing how predictable some of these chokes are.

Gentry called a play for Jrue twice when he has AD and Boogie...

Boogie bout to get criticism for not winning again and it wasn't his fault at all... strong choke by the Pels and Gentry

edit: ok that was a terrible shot but better than anyone else shooting it

All 3 plays no drew up in their timeouts were completely blown up by the Spurs

No wonder the Pelicans record is what it is. Poor execution, terrible shot selection, don't know how to win.

Adams & Kanter yes. Oladipo? not so sure. And why is everyone so down on Roberson when he's an elite defender. If Bruce Bowen can start for a championship caliber team, then yes Roberson is absolutely an NBA starter. If OKC keeps going 5-5 or 6-4 into the future even with an improved bench, then I don't think there's any excuse for Westbrook anymore, other than to say that his style of play is not conducive to winning.

Yeah, play calling was terrible. Option no. 1 should not be holiday.

None of those plays were for holiday to take the shot. That's just the Spurs defense making them go to the last option

Sport Center just did a full highlight reel of Westbrook and they lost the game.

Bruce Bowen was a deadly shooter and made you pay on a nightly basis Roberson not so much. Terrible offensively and isn't even a threat. Not much of a comparison there. Roberson as a starter is absolutely horrible

Bowen's only offensive skill was corner 3 and he made them like once in a game on average. Percentages don't matter when you only take 2~3 threes in a game. You can also argue that Roberson is a better athlete and gets to the rim more often. Bowen and Roberson are both 6~7 PPG players at best.

I'm not down on Roberson, but you're making it sound like WB could make him better than he already is.

And that's a really strange comparison to Bowen. Why don't you try Shandon Anderson instead, or a smaller Ariza without a shot.

Bowen,,, that dick ,,, was one of the best (and first) 3 and D guys in the game. 8-time All-NBA defense, 5 straight 1st team. Dude was 40% three-point shooter. Roberson can't shoot a 3....he is no better than Shandon Anderson, who only started for a bad Rockets team.

As bad as the Pels are with the current makeup of their team and low chemistry, they still pretty much hung toe to toe with the Spurs for the whole game. Better execution and less ref hatred for Boogie and they win the game. The NBA purist in me hopes they resign Boogie, fire Gentry, and get some shooters in the off-season. The Rockets fan in me hopes they keep Gentry - that alone is enough to seal their fate.

Roberson is a dime a dozen Shandon Anderson type player.

Bowen shooting 40% on threes taking 250 of them a year is a threat that Roberson just is not. You had to cover Bowen. Had he been on PHX, he would have taken twice as many, probably.

That's a really poor comparison. You are trying to drag down Bowen to make a bad comparison, when Roberson isn't even at Bowen's elite defense.

man lebron owns the hawks. cleveland hits 25 3's on the hawks in the playoffs for the all-time nba record, and now breaks the regular season record with 25 again on the hawks (stupid rockets going 0-15).
