Donavan deserves some blame, but let’s be real, how can u expect a free flowing offense with a lot of ball movement when 2 of your 3 highest usage players are Westbrook and Melo? It’s not like PG doesn’t love to ISO and pound the rock too. They are easy to defend. I do not fear them at all in a playoff series. Oh, your team is led by Westbrook? What am I worried about then? “biggest threat to GS” my ass...
I've said all along that Billy Donovan isn't the problem. Two years ago OKC's offense was a thing of beauty like it never had been before. Of course, WB had to eventually assert himself and ruined everything, which is why KD left. Last year was all about keeping WB happy. It didn't matter what the coach wanted. The only thing that mattered was making sure WB signed an extension. As a result, he had the most selfish season in NBA history. Rebounds, assists and whatever else were directed to him to satisfy his egotistical MVP/Triple Double run. The problem is WB was elevated to supreme being in OKC. He doesn't have to do a thing Billy Donovan says. This year, they added PG who (IMO) would have been a decent fit by himself. Two ball-dominant guys on one team is workable. The final straw was adding Melo. They have 3 guys needing the ball in their hands to be effective. None of the 3 has experience playing off the ball for extended periods of time and they can't break old habits so easily. The 3-star roster is the reason OKC is failing. Of course, Billy D will probably be the fall guy soon. If they still won't listen to him after flailing for 20 games, his credibility to enforce an offense that requires movement is gone. But they don't have anyone else to plug in that could pick up the pieces. Presti is between a rock and a hard place.
will a warriors player or coach talk politics and bring up donald trump when they lose this game as well to the lakers
Wtf Lonzo, shoot that...... Anyways, can we let the Lakers borrow Bobby Brown so they can secure this W...
Pretty good honestly. His confidence raised a lot and he started feeling it for a 3 min stretch before cutting his eye. Back to back 3s and a good drive 8 points all in like 2 minutes
Watching this Warriors vs Lakers game feels like the most fixed thing ever. Every time the Warriors get up the next few possessions they turn it over until the Lakers take the lead again.
