    It feels that way sometimes but that isn't true at all. We've consistently been a good team.

    Keep in mind that since 2000 there have only been 6 championship cities. Out of 30 cities.

    Teams that have only made it past the first round once or fewer times:
    Denver (1 WCF, 9 1st round eliminations)
    Houston (1 WCSF, 6 1st round eliminations)
    Milwaukee (1 ECF, 5 1st round eliminations)
    Minnesota (1 WCF, 3 1st round eliminations)
    New Orleans (1 WCSF, 4 1st round eliminations)
    New York (1 ECSF, 4 1st round eliminations)
    Portland (1 ECSF, 6 1st round eliminations)
    Toronto (1 ECSF, 4 1st round eliminations)

    So out of 30 NBA franchises, 7 are in the same position we are in or worse. If we expanded the list though to see who hasn't gotten out of the 2nd round it would look a lot worse.

    I mean I'm not saying we've had a great run. We've been a good regular season team that consistently draws a tough matchup in the first. Good enough to make the playoffs but never good enough to get the patsies at the bottom of the bracket on our own court.

    That does look cheap. Maybe put a patch with a trophy for the reigning championship team. But that's too good of an idea to even be considered.

    That patch looks horrible in my opinion.

    The patch should be of a gold Trophy on the front, and a star around it to represent the number of championships won, for example, the Rockets would have the
    Larry Obryant trophy, and then 2 stars just above the basketball part of the trophy.

    Did you research that before commenting? And ironically the team you used as an example does have a championship..

    Yes, there is. Spurs will say x5.


    I think the patch should be on the front of the jersey

    It should be a stripe somewhere and the team should get tot choose the color and placement

    Morey became the GM beginning with the 2007-08 season (was on staff prior)

    In that time the Rockets have won 326 out of a possible 558 games. That's a winning percentage of 58%. They've been to the playoffs four times and have advanced past the 1st round once. '

    The 2x, 3x, etc thing took a fairly good soccer rip off idea and made it pretty lame.
