ended up making 8 bets and going 4-4 tonight. forgot to post before the games, so I guess it doesn't count for the purposes of this thread. still definitely a full blown degenerate.
Should only make like 3 to 4 bets out of those 8 games. You end up losing your bankroll much faster betting all the games. (1 bad night) not telling you how to do things, but just giving you a tip because trust me, I've been there. Now I just pick and choose my spots and try to resist the urge To bet just because a game is on tv. Lol
^BmwM3, you're killing it. Keep up the good work...might have to start tailing your picks, lol. There is a poster on here, plcmts17, who I don't know personally, but he either currently works at a sportsbook or spent many years working at one in Vegas. I wish he would post in this thread and offer up some advice and suggestions. 1-1-1 tonight...Pathetic performance by the Bulls. 6-5-1 overall. Here's what I'm looking at for tomorrow: Raptors -1.5 (sucker line?) I don't think Kyrie Irving is coming back until Fri. GSW/NYK over 206.5 (Don't think anybody on the Warriors is going to be suspended) Wizards to cover spread whatever it ends up being (Will have to check if Knight is playing for the Pistons though) Rockets -8, Rockets -5 (1st half), Rockets/Bucks over 219.5 (Bucks may not be able to keep pace after the Mavs game tonight, but Rockets could blow them out) OKC -13.5 Any thoughts on these or others games tomorrow?
Here are today's lines. It's going to be around these numbers, but this is what my book has posted right now. Basketball is so much more difficult than NFL. So many factors involved like playing back to back, flying from east coast to west coast, ect. But glad to sea this thread exist nonetheless.
If anyone plays college, I would lock in Baylor right now against west Virginia. I see the line going up before tip off. It's at (-1.5) right now. It's a pretty much must win for Baylor. I think they have the offense and talent to get the win. West virginia is a tough to team cap. Games they should have no chance in they keep it close, games they should win, they lose. Only person I'm afraid of on west Virginia is Aaric Murray, but he's to much of a head case and let's his emotions dictate his game. But when he's on, kid can definitely play. Anyways, to keep it short, Baylor has way better athletic and skill players to not win this game. Adding Georgetown against u conn. Georgetown is hot right now,I believe covering their last 9 games. Why would there be a short line? The thing is Georgetown matches up really well with u conn. Stop their guards and u conn has no chance. Otto porter is gonna have another monster game and they'll show people watching that they belong up there. To make it sweet and short, Georgetown has the defense to stop Napier and Boatright. Without those two clicking for u conn, they stand no chance. Short line I believe it's because Georgetown hasn't won at u conn in a very long time. And Vegas is pulling a reverse trap as action is pretty even on both sides. College Georgetown (-1.5) Baylor (-1.5) I'll add nba play later if something catches my eye.
Denver -2.5 at port Milw plus 8 at hou Toronto -2.5 at clev I bet almost daily. Have hit around 60 percent for last 2 nba seasons. Toronto and Denver are both trap slash sucker bets but I still like them. Milwaukee matches up really well with rockets. Should be a close game.
The line for the Raptors game went up to -4.5/-5 at some places. I still think they win, but don't know if I trust them to cover that on the road against Cleveland even with Kyrie out. Probably staying away from this one. Bucks +8 at Houston is tough. You guys have a lot more faith in that team than I do, but it is true, they do match up well with the Rockets. I'm still thinking the over at 218.5 (which is a lot of points) and Rockets -8 in that game. 2nd night of a back to back for Milwaukee and I don't think they'll be interested in playing defense outside of Sanders and Sammy D. Hopefully they're content with making it a track meet. I'm still leaning Wizards -7 at home against Detroit. Drummond is still out, but the Pistons get back Bynum and Knight. However, Detroit has beaten them all three times this season, including earlier this month. There may be a revenge factor at play. I also think Wiz match up well with Detroit and are good at home. I wouldn't touch the Portland-Denver game. That has trap written all over it. If I was forced to bet, I would take Blazers +2.5. Everybody seems to be on the over for the GSW/NYK game, but the line went down? Will edit this post a little later with my final plays.
I really wouldn't be comfortable laying 7 points with washington against anyone. The wizards have no home court advantage so its basically betting the belief that the wizards are around 5-6 points better than detroit. I don't agree with that. Denver just gave away a game against washington last week on the road. This is a similar game but they are more rested. Portland has no bench and denver is very deep. I just don't see Denver losing this game. GSW - NYK is a game i would like to hit the under. GS is going to lay an egg here and score like 90 points. This is a terrible matchup for them. I actually may bet NYK here Cleveland is playing their 3rd game in 4 nights and its also first home game after road trip. Toronto is coming off a bad home loss with a day off to practice. They should be ready to go. How is cleveland going to score?
Alright my final plays NBA Cleveland (+4.5) I think they keep it close and maybe even win outright even with out Kyrie. College Baylor (-1.5) now its a pick em. Not too confident about this one now, but will stick with it anyways. Georgetown (-1.5) don't see an upset here. Final card for today.
Am I missing something with this DAL @ MEM -7.5 line? Dallas lost a tough game last night and Memphis is rested at home... shouldn't this be an easy cover?
*** Kyrie Irving is OUT, Carmelo Anthony is PROBABLE with a stomach virus, Jameer Nelson is OUT, Anthony Davis is OUT, David Lee is OUT. ***
I believe Dallas blew Memphis out the last meeting? Memphis has good defense, but i don't trust their defense one bit.
