First Stephen A. Smith, then NBA Daily, then some random guy in Nevada? The momentum is building, and the sources are getting better.
It was a better read than any credible source. Infact, the chronicle should steal the op's post and run it as a full story. =) Give them whatever they want except scola, martin, bud, yao, brooks, lowry, ariza and battier. That leaves Hill and jeffries and all picks from now til 2017 if you have too. (morey will just buy some picks in the second round and make them all stars.)
Of course, now if the NBA daily report gets quoted, then Twitter will really be all a-twitter about Bosh to Houston.
In this collection of media twitters, Im not seeing any other Bosh to Houston mention: http://hoopshype.com/twitter_media.html
It's possible they just read his twitter posts and speculated on that....whether they got sources or not, i have to say it not crazy speculation. Might be to houston's benefit that he's enjoying family time so much and i agree the family would be able to see him more and vice versa, yet he wouldnt have to deal with what Lebron deals with in Cleveland ( too much pressure).
See, even the national media gets it. Let's see who the first domino will be, come on Chris....come to Houston. DD
If I were the Raps I would want Shane to have a great chip to move at the trade deadline. He could be moved as a good sized expiring, or as a lock down defender for a contending team who needs one. Either way having Shane in the Bosh S & T package gives them a chip to dangle at the deadline to get more young assets / picks in return.
from a personal standpoint it would be great, but basketball-wise, may not be the best thing. For one, scola will get at least 6-7 mill...that's a significant amount of salary and there's a risk he'll be making that once he's no longer as effective. I rather use that to pay the younger guys and get them in alonger contract. Also, he's not defensive minded and Bosh isn't exactly a defensive monster. He does well, but bosh/scola is too much offense and not enough D. I'd rather keep Hill and PP, let hill back up the 5 and PP the 4, now you have a good balance of offense and defense at both spots, as well as athleticism, which scola also didnt have.
Yeah I totally agree, except he's there equivalent of AB. The glue to that teams offense, that is if Bosh leaves, Hedo's done and that italian player aint cuttin it. If we dont get him we have to keep Ariza over Battier
Well said. As much as I'd like for this to be true, this article sounds like a Rockets fan's fantasy more than a realistic assessment of the situation.
