http://news.sportslogos.net/2018/03...share-thoughts/amp/?__twitter_impression=true I think most of us have seen the horrendous new NBA Finals logo and font, but had no idea they were standardising everything and even All-Star branding is fixed to a template. What a bunch of narrow minded dicks do they have in the league office? Is Adam Silver involved in this? First we had to suffer through the “rough patches” of advertisements on jerseys which is executed in the most childlike manner. Then the Nike takeover which seemed to be fresh and new in their approach, but even that was killed by horrible designs, same uniforms under different names and teams stripped of their freedom with alternates and throwbacks. Now we have to accept even this fixed and screwed up template & again that the NBA will decide for at least 50% of the games which uniforms teams will wear and apparently which shorts (don’t they come as a full kit??), going back to the Adidas era of Stern’s control freak days. Say what you want about Sterm who was a world class dick, at least he allowed for creative freedom and went along with branding trends for NBA Finals at least. What do you think about this corporate move and ‘clean’ fixed branding?
I love the NBA Finals script especially when on the court. It sucks they got rid of it because the new one is cold and ugly, not swag at all.
