Fran may write for NBA.com, but he sure writes about the Rockets a lot.

And does a fine job of it.

Good to see Brooks getting recognition in a national media source. Too bad many Rockets fans don't seem to appreciate Brooks as much as they should.

Ah yes, Aaron Brooks! Flat footed as a duck. Fleet footed as a fox.

Whereas it's nice to see an occasional positive article from Fran (for a change), he is a mediocre writer at best. I'm glad that he cut down on his typical overuse of metaphors and similes in this article, but he couldn't help but slip some in, including this gem:

Like a cat burglar? Does that mean slowly and stealthily? ;)

I think Aaron should made the All-Star this year....too bad they always have to give way to veteran like Jason Kidd.

How is it this thread gets anything less that 5 stars?

It is talking about a ROCKETS player, in a very positive light.

    It is just unreal !

Does anybody else like Fran more now that he's writing for NBA? I guess he's not as cynical as when he wrote for chron.

It helps that his boss at NBA.com is alot more intimidating than the Chron.com

    David Stern is the devil!

The only way to get a 5 star thread in GARM is to insult the ghost of Tracy McGrady.
