    Clippers: Kawhi & George
    Lakers: Lebron & AD
    Nets: KD & Kyrie
    Jazz: Conley & Mitchell
Sixers: Embiid & Simmons / Harris / Horford
    Blazers: CJ & Lilliard
    Raptors: Lowry & Siakam
Bucks: Giannis & Bledsoe / Middleton
Celtics: Walker & Tatum / Brown
    Spurs: DeRozan & Aldridge
    Mavericks: Porzingis & Luka
    Nuggets: Jokic & Murray
    Pacers: Oladipo & Brogdon
    Warriors: Klay & Curry
    Rockets: Westbrook & Harden

Might be one soon: Butler & CP3

That's at least 15 teams with an arguable big 2 who could be All-Stars. How are you not excited?! :)

Brogdon is not a star IMO. Good role player.

I love the idea of more dynamic duos across the board like this, vs. fewer super teams.

I’m a fan....hated the super team era. Both from a parity standpoint and player mentality standpoint.

    Way overly optimistic.

Its not the same when you have two borderline All Stars (Hi, Pacers) vs the big boys who have two MVP candidates. You Should amend this thread and list

    Lakers
    Clippers
    Rockets

Which is scary. I worry this player empowerment movement may lead to small teams being second class franchises.

Warriors have a big 4 still. Green, Curry, Klay, DLO

Marketing. There's been plenty of duos. It's not like there were 10 superteams running around either.

Jimmy is not a star either. He is very good though. It's going to be a tough time for Jimmy to contend in Miami, but he can pop bottle and take a long walks on the beach anytime he wants lol.

That is debatable, he was a star in Philly, just a minor star yet he was pretty clutch and gave the Raptors a run for their money.

He was a bona fide star with them Bulls.

You are right that Miami has nothing next to Jimmy B.

Way more interesting than the boring Heat/Warriors superteam era, but I still find myself longing for the old days where stars were committed to their cities and didn’t just hop around from place to place leaving teams hanging in the balance. Tired of the “player empowerment” that has clearly jumped the shark.

That may be an overly idealistic viewpoint, which may be a fair critique, but I just prefer that over constant star movement. Makes me appreciate Harden even more for really committing to Houston even when it may not be the easiest path to a ring.

You have to create a Gilead which is a Dystopia of the Hightest Order (Handmaid's tale) for them to make it happen.

    I do not see it.

I think you put Sixers in tier 1 and its spot on. They are by far favorite to come out of the East next year barring any injuries.

Pretty crazy how 2 of the 4 duos listed here are going to be eliminated at the end of the second round of the WC playoffs. It's almost unfair.
