    Here is the bracket for the 4th round of the NBA 1 on 1 Tournament. I'm sure just about everyone has the drill down by now. Copy and paste the bracket below, and put a W by the winner. This should be very interesting- especially with the Francis vs. Shaq matchup. I'll tally up the votes after a couple of days and then we'll go on to the next round. Here's the bracket:

    How the hell can Francis beat Shaq??????????? All Shaq has to do is post up on him every time. There's no way Steve can stop him. Methinks there's a bit too much team loyalty coming into play with this tournament.

    Shaq is a terrible one on one player. Steve vs. Shaq would be a blowout. How do you plan on Shaq getting in the post? He would have to dribble down there, and seeing as how he has no dribbling skills whatsoever Steve would just steal it from him every time. Plus Shaq can't defend Steve's speed on the perimeter and you know that. The Steve-Shaq matchup I think is the most lopsided of the 4, in favor of Steve.

    Of course, Webber could just post up Marbury every time and Garnett could post up FInley everytime and you have both of them losing---interesting.

    Ass first. Seriously, all Shaq has to do is to use his fat ass to back up Steve until he's under the basket and just dunk on him.

    Plus Shaq can't defend Steve's speed on the perimeter and you know that.

    So? He'd just lurk underneath the basket and swat the ball away whenever Francis drove in close. Or, when he sees Steve setting up for an outside shot, he'd lunge out to get a hand in his face.


    The Steve-Shaq matchup I think is the most lopsided of the 4, in favor of Steve.

    I respectfully disagree. [​IMG] I think people are giving Steve a bit too much credit here. There's no way he should have made it past Iverson or Gary Payton (he did take on Payton, right?).


    Of course, Webber could just post up Marbury every time and Garnett could post up FInley everytime

    Not really. There's no way Garnett with his skinny frame could push around Finley like Shaq could with Steve. As for Marbury-Webber, that was the toughest matchup in my mind. It would be tough to defend against C-Webb, but I believe Marbury would win because he's such an awesome scorer. Francis, on the other hand, would never be able to beat Shaq one-on-one.

    And you think Steve would just sit there while Shaq backed his ass in from half court? He isn't stupid. There's no way Shaq can pick up the ball from half court and just back down Steve without Steve stealing the ball from him at some point. Of course this is what makes the 1 on 1 competition fun though. I see no way Steve can lose. You see no way he can win. Let's just let the votes decide it.

    There is no way shaq could contend with steve, but he never should have gotten past Gary Payton.
