After the failed effort to find some other leader for the House, I've decided I'm fine with Pelosi. She brings baggage but she knows what she's doing.

I was l=hoping for someone new (younger, fresh voice), but so far Pelosi has succeeded at leading the Democratic House. I would still like new people at some point... a name that gets mentioned a lot is Hakeem Jeffries of New York.
See, here's the issue. The far left who dominated the media expect minority women to be held to different, "babied" standards compared to white counterparts. But that isn't equality. Pelosi is calling out AOC for being incompetent, obnoxious and "not getting it" with a lot of issues, not because she's a minority. Pelosi has that right. This hurts Americans of all races when each race is held to a different standard. What about the lack of criticism for Gabbard, who displays competence but isn't down with the reality tv idiots? The media knows what sells and Pelosi isn't going to be intimidated by it.

She seems more annoyed at the media buzz around AOC, not with AOC herself. Pelosi goes out of her way to say AOC has been great. She just doesn't like the impression the media seems to have that the other 200-whatever Democratic Reps don't matter, or don't have their own agency.
