"All we can do is wait and pray. In the meantime, if you’re one of the careless buffoons who cast a first place vote for Russell Westbrook, kindly remove yourself from society and live out your remaining days in the wilderness. Do it for the kids whose lives you might have carelessly ruined."

LMAO this article is great. Can't wait to send this around and piss off my idiot friends.

In this day and age with so much stupidity being thrown around... you never know if you're dealing with satirical sarcasm - or straight up stupidity....

btw, loved the beard/Jesus reference at the end...

Reminded me of a story I heard - I think it was Matthew McConaughey... While in HS, his dad was driving him to football practice... Dad was giving him a hard time about his long hair and wearing sandals... McC says something like "Well Jesus Christ had long hair and wore sandals..." His dad didn't reply... They got to the practice site - and dad kept driving. McC was like "Hey that's the place..." Dad kept driving, as McC kept asking what he was doing... Finally about 5 miles down the road, dad pulled over and told him to get out. McC did. Then dad told him "Jesus Christ had to walk everywhere too!" and drove away...

A bit harsh... Even Jesus rode a donkey for special occasions.

I have no problem with Westbrook winning the Media's Most Valuable Player award. They know who is getting them the biggest ratings. They know who their cash cow is. And it's definitely Westbrook, not Harden. Westbrook deserves the MMVP hands down.

This is part of what I don't understand. How on earth is Russ more likable and media friendly than James Harden, the friendly, mild-mannered bearded man?

Anybody catch that "F bomb" Russ threw out on his post game interview?? What a great MVP the NBA has chosen this year.

Now that I think about it, it would be a terrible example for the kids... This sport should be about teamwork, not me-ball.

I mean, people are bored of players being good teammates and winning - you know sacrificing their games. What we needed was a guy who only trusted his teammates up til they he accumulated 10 assists and would single handedly win games all on his own.

In all honesty though - he's an amazing special player who accomplished something incredible. For the first 3 qtrs tonight, he was putting together one of the greatest playoff performances until he ran out of steam. But that's the point isn't it? It takes 5. Or at least, it takes more than 1.

No doubt. MVP must go to Harden or WB will ruin the NBA with his self fish one on one play
