I thought I'd share it with you. Keep in mind my wife is super, SUPER shy, and doesnt write. But she was at home watching the game while I was doing my radio show, and suddenly felt motivated to put finger to keyboard.

The obvious disclaimer is that through my friendship with Ron, she obviously has a special place in her heart for him. He's always been great to her and my two young children....he's "Uncle Ronnie"

    Here you go....

Thanks for sharing that CD. I hope we resign Ron and that you and your talents can find a job in H-town along with your obviously wonderful family. Thanks for your support even though Ron doesnt play in Sac anymore. Good luck to you and yours.

    Very sweet. :)

Artest isn't perfect, but I never question the man's heart and love for the game. It's always great to see.

Thanks for the post - your wife is awesome. Talented writer too.

It brought the tears back to my eyes and the lump back to my throat which only passed about an hour ago.

too bad they're not gonna re-sign him....kidding..kidding...well sort of..

I've been saying all along ron would be good the whole season, you could really see how he changed, but was still the same in a way.

Where did your wife post this?

Very cool Dave. Ron has become my favorite Rocket and I hope he stays in Houston for a long time. And that you and your family can come down here as well.

Also, your wife is quite the writer. That was outstanding.
