WARNING: Photo and video intensive post Pictures and Videos of a Magical Day So my day yesterday started out with meeting a good chunk of the Thunder players at the Chik-fil-a at Park Shops downtown: So getting pumped up after that, I started looking for tickets on Flashseats and managed to get awesome 2nd row seats in section 101 for way below face value. I went with my friend who is a Thunder fan (but otherwise also a solid Rockets fan) and here are some pictures from our seats: THE BIG THREE The crowd was AWESOME in the 4th quarter. It's the loudest I've ever heard the Toyota Center be (I've never been to a playoff game). My friend managed to get a part of the come back on film from our vantage point: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Dxh7AiTgTuk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/_uYHIn0im9c" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> EASILY the best Rockets game I've ever been to!
i actually felt really bad when i sold my tickets before you e-mailed me but looks like you were able to score some tickets to the game anyway! nice pics, thanks for sharing!
I just asked. He uses a Canon SX260. We sort of talked to them and KD was pretty nice but that old guy you see in the pictures wouldn't let them talk to anyone. He even turned down a serviceman who was trying to get some pictures with KD. Thanks man. I hope you had a good reason to miss that freakin' game though holy crap!
One story from last night: We obviously didn't know about the trade and nothing was announced in the arena (as far as I knew) and assumed that PPat was hurt or something. I looked it up on Clutchfans and went nuts and everyone around me was like WTF. Not many people knew who Thomas Robinson was and I was trying to explain how good he was in college. His name is too generic I think.
Reading the play-by-play I figured out the context of the videos. The first one is Harden hitting a 3 to tie it at 111-111, blocking Westbrook's shot, dribbling and whipping it to Delfino then to Lin for the go-ahead 3 to make it 114-111. The second one is Lin's 3 after that to go 117-111.
I bet KD wishes he was back with Harden. Can't believe OKC picked him over Harden to give a big contract to.
