Honest discussion: do you think Harden, teammates and maybe even coach have been catering to his stats, have become distracted with all the MVP nonsense and in the process lost focus of what's important throughout the season? To be honest, I don't think it has affected us too much, but it certainly has played a significant role. Mainly for Harden, I think chasing stats has been more important at times, not often. These last few games have definitely been a distraction with all the "playing every single game counts" nonsense, but that's not my focus necessarily. I'm talking about mindset, mentality, guys doing everything they can to get out of Harden's way and he can do whatever he wants. P.S. Ignore the title, I just didn't know a way to phrase it shortly.
Regular season are just for show anyways, the real stuff begins in the playoffs. Heck we can lose 0-4 against gsw in the regular season. But if we beat them 4-0 in the playoffs, thats all that matters right boys
honestly the Rockets have nothing to play for and the Rockets have a tough stretch with GSW, Portland, and then GSW, so really not all that surprising. Harden with a bum wrist too so it should be expected. He should get a little bit of rest soon once we officially clinch 3rd place with some easy games coming
