So this isn't the Old Man Logan story at all, but that was to be expected. Would have been neat to see some redneck incestuous Hulks and a country conquered by Red Skull. Also... If Logan is that aged, what year is it and how the hell is Xavier still alive? But I guess I'd rather have Patrick Stewart and a fuxked up timeline than no Patrick Stewart.
From one description I read, this is supposed to take place one year after the events of DoFP, but that doesn't make any sense. I think we're fine either way thinking it's super far in the future, and like The Wolverine, the storylines won't be intersecting with xmen plots. And with the quality of child actors we've been seeing, from Stranger Things and Jungle Book, this kid better be good. Hurt's perfect too.
I thought wolverine doesn't age. i mean he went like 200 years without aging, then suddenly in dofp he grew grey hair. that's only like what, 10-20 years after x3?
He does age, just much slower than a normal human. You have to remember you're questioning a Fox movie. Just smile, nod, and give them your $30 to pay to see the movie. When you start asking questions is when it all unravels.
I don't think that's accurate. It's supposed to be not too distant future. I don't think **** would fall apart that quickly one year after they completely changed the timeline. Plus Wolverine has certainly aged more than a year, and so has Professor X.
Looks good, the Johnny Cash 'Hurt' cover always gives me chills. Looks like it barely follows the 'Old Man Logan' storyline but that was expected given the split Marvel character movie rights. I may actually see this one in the theater.
so this is firestarter with wolverine? i don't usually take note about these things, but that title font, hmm....
Yeah that may have been imdb's description which was taken down. The wiki now has it set to 2024. Also that Professor X has alzheimer's and confirms that it's Laura. I was really hoping for a swerve that the girl would instead be Hope and they go with one of the messiah stories.
