Haven't seen the movie yet, but if it's a wreck, I seriously hope that all the symbiotes combine and form a symbiote ball that rolls down the city streets eating people.
this movie is getting ripped to shreds, my gawd Is this gonna be 1 of those “if u have 2 friends who like this movie then u need new friends” type of film?
I don't get the Sony and Marvel thing, I just want a great movie for Venom and the ghostrider. They don't deserve this.
Ghost Rider reverted to Marvel Studios. I think they're sitting on their 'supernatural' properties until the timing is right. They own Blade, too. Marvel Studios was supposed to be collaborating with Sony on Spider-Man, but I guess Sony decided to do the Venom movie solo. Will they learn their lesson? Probably only if Venom seriously flops, which it may, domestically, after all of these reviews.
I know this got mostly negative reviews from critics but I just finished watching and personally thought it was a fun ride.
i really enjoyed the trailers and their interviews seem exciting... but the review brought me down to earth... forgot who the studio was.
BoxOfficeMojo's weekend prediction: Venom (4,250 theaters) - $60.0 M A Star is Born (3,686 theaters) - $42.0 M Smallfoot (4,131 theaters) - $15.0 M Night School (3,019 theaters) - $14.4 M The House With A Clock In Its Walls (3,456 theaters) - $6.3 M A Simple Favor (2,408 theaters) - $3.9 M The Nun (2,264 theaters) - $3.0 M Crazy Rich Asians (1,466 theaters) - $2.7 M Hell Fest (2,297 theaters) - $2.7 M The Predator (1,643 theaters) - $1.6 M I don't think Venom will hit 60m. I've been wrong before, but that was doubting James Cameron, a fool's errand.
Studios don’t give a eff if a movie is well received or not. Rick and Morty creator talked about this. Oscar noms don’t pay the taxes on a seafront Malibu vacation home.
Yeah, they did an interview recently and said Feige wasn't involved with Venom in any way shape or form. Gee, I wonder why it sucks... They better not stop collaborating on the Spider-Man movies (after Far From Home). I can't go back to that garbage after what Marvel / Tom Holland have done with it.
