A new 8K trailer has been released for “Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula,” the follow-up to the acclaimed and highly popular Korean-made zombie action film which became a hit around much of the world in 2016. Like its predecessor, “Peninsula” was named in the official selection of this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The film has been targeting a July release in Korea but an exact date is unclear. Korean cinemas reopened last month and audiences are slowly beginning to come back. An international release will be closely co-ordinated as soon as the Korean opening is confirmed. Gang Dongwon stars as a survivor of the outbreak who must return to Korea to retrieve a huge cash hoard. After things go wrong, he and his team are aided by a female survivor (Lee Junghyun). Yeon Sangho helms the film which has released the first 8K trailer for a feature film, though it will depend on your browser to access. https://www.darkhorizons.com/train-to-busan-peninsula-gets-an-8k-trailer/
I like it. -Korean and Japanese horror always has a good slice of body horror added in -If you squint it’s ‘Penisula’ Will there be a dubbed version?
Dubbing is often considered 'dehumaizing' yet Netflix still usually offers it as most Korean movies include it as a feature. I just read subtitles instead.
I have taken the train to Busan many times when I taught/lived over there. I don't *think* anyone was a zombie, but I guess you never really know...
