Not surprising. That annual December release is going to make them tons of money, literally...unless people get tired of them.

Fine by me. I'd rather they not rush it. Make it great.

Hell of a good strategy. December belongs to the force. Disney is trying to take over Christ. Holy crap, could this be a new revelation? Will all this come true?

What a flash in the pan that movie was. Without the novelty of 3D it won't do anywhere near the business. Hoping it fails incredibly hard.

Maybe Rey should have a laser fight with her father (who she does not quite know is her father) and have her hand chopped off?

Probably should have put the above in a spoiler.

Disney actually has a huge amount of money sunk in Avatar related theme park development. They're constructing a Pandora at their Animal Kingdom park in Orlando...huge project.

I've never seen Avatar. It's one of the highest grossing movies of all time...never seen a second of it. I should probably check it out.

Why would you hope it fails? It was a very well made movie, and obviously the vast majority of viewers loved it.

THIS. Reminds me of the LOTR trilogy.

    Like an early gift.
