    If you guys are confused why this movies is getting such acclaim do some more supplemental research on YouTube for more insight. I already posted this video.

    I'll watch that when I can. I think it's good but for example the original Oldboy is tons better than this to me.

    Reggie Miller was good. Michael Jordan tons better to me.

    I've never seen Oldboy. But what does it matter if something else is better.

    It doesn’t matter. I’m just commenting on a message board in a movie thread. Apparently this movie has a chance to win best picture. If I had not read that before I watched it I would never assumed it was in the running for that based on what I saw.

    Parasite was okay. I really couldn't root for any of the characters. Maybe that was the point. Very cynical movie.

    I thought it was a really good movie. Lots of running themes and motifs - so much so, that it made me feel like I was back in high school analyzing literary works.

    Glad it's been so successful outside its home country.

    Oldboy will **** your day up. Great movie but ****'s ****ed. If people are putting Parasite in category of Oldboy, Snowpiercer, Train to Busan, I'm definitely going to have to watch this.

    Watched it on a plane on Friday. I liked it but Best Picture? Not sure...

    then again I have not seen half of the nominated movies. I enjoyed the humor but the dark turn surprised me a bit. Really good but not great IMHO

    A coworker told me last week how good this movie is. I see it's at a few theaters in town (maybe it'll expand). Gotta catch it now for sure.
