It may not have anything new to offer, but tell me: Where else are you going to hear people like Ed O'Neill and Mickey Rourke talk about Bruce? lol I'm seeing this on the big screen just for the clips. Opens This Thursday exclusively at Studio Movie Grill... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/irSiTkRtfbg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
As long as he's not getting put into traction due to fake underground Chinatown kung fu matches (as opposed to a work-out accident) this should probably be fine. Hopefully they don't make fifteen different documentaries and feature length films about the same exact thing (like Ali and the Rumble in the Jungle).
Ed o'Neil is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He got his belt from one of the more famous Gracies, so I imagine his game is pretty legit.
Either that or his cash and referrals are. You can only collecting so many three-month half-stripe probationary belt testing fees before you just start giving people what they want.
"Bruce Lee gave Chinese men balls." Ironically that came from a woman of Asian descent (who is not married to an Asian guy).
I'm a huge Bruce Lee fan. That said, I'm extremely disappointed in what this documentary has to offer. How can one make a documentary on Bruce Lee and NOT talk to Chuck Norris, Kareem Abdul Jabbar nor John Saxon? Dumb.
Yeah and what do these celebrities know about Bruce that we don't already know??? I think this documentary is aiming more towards the new skool and people who don't know who Bruce Lee is... I'm waiting until they do a real documentary on his dark side and the people that actually know him personally...
Yeah going from selling crack in Marcy to being worth half a billion in less then 15 years is laughable.
