At least he's skinny Godzilla again

 

I like the parts where the people argued and where Godzilla just stood there.

Srsly tho would probably Netflix it.

 

they cant compete with hollywood big budget. I appreciate them trying to do something completely different with it (stay retro) even if it ends up failing.

 

My favorites are still the old Godzilla films like King Kong Vs Godzilla and even the Gamera films from the 60s. I remember Channel 13 used to have the old Million Dollar Movie at 3pm and they'd often play those, it'd be a treat to get home from school and find one of those on.

 

I like how it looks like they've gone back to a guy in a foam rubber suit for Godzilla.

Nostalgia. I like it.

 

The Japanese know how to make a proper godzilla movie.

 

And glowing red skin, like he has a drinking problem or something. I'm not down with this one.

FWIW, they've kept making the occasional rubber suit Godzilla movie over the years. Most of them don't make it over here. I think of one big one as the Destroyah film, and sure enough, it looks like he was glowing there too.
