This somewhat alarming news. Considering that near-century scale droughts have occurred in California and the Colorado Basin, we really need to appreciate what immigration policy can mean for the future of America.

How much will wildlife be negatively impacted by building a wall? The answer is that it would be terrible........... but don't let that get in the way of your narrative.

I think it says something about taking climate change seriously. It says something about managing our resources well. Saying it should inform our immigration policy is like saying it should inform our abortion policy.

I wonder what the odds are on this thread also filling up with scattered weather reports.

Well, it is cold outside today. Another reason to doubt climate science.

Our military said climate change is a huge security risk to the world and to the US because population will move. You are not stopping millions migration across boundaries. Short term planning and sticking head in the sand tend to yield serious negative consequences in the long run.

Should build a wall around d.c. and no one comes out alive. That would be great for the country and the environment.

Everything is global warmings fault. Nothing is global warmings fault. Its global warmings fault we over populate regions to the point we tax the local resources. Its natures job to keep up with this demand, and if it doesn't, we will blame climate change skeptics.

It actually would. Especially if Trump is inside DC. Then he could get his wall and we would actually get a wall that would protect us from something truly dangerous.

SG, please do not compare yourself to one of our resident unhinged SJW's. Lou has been in full melt down mode since the election. I would block him but his post are just too damn comical.

Can a more educated person on the issue help me understand why Dems aren’t accepting the Daca/Wall deal?

I’m not being coy etc. I just don’t know enough about it.
