Of all the matchups we like to claim as rivals in this town, the Jazz are the only opponent with whom we can claim a legitimate 2 way rivalry. Not just mutual dislike, but real history behind it.

I remember those days of always running into the j*zz similar to how we been running into GSW these past few years. But the Lakers will always be the biggest most hated "rival" to me.

I meant it as in we always faced them. Didnt mean we kept getting knocked out by them. A rival to me is a team I cant stand and never will. Doesnt have to be a team we always play in the playoffs. That's why I said Lakers are rivals to me even if they not to every other rockets fan.

 

Rivalries have to run both directions.

A lot of fans hate the Lakers, doesn't make it a rivalry.

Honestly, I love the fact that Utah fans hate us this much. This free-flowing hate we have for each other is good for the soul.

 

I dont believe this is accurate. Casuals love kd and lebron, while sht on harden. Hardcore fans split between hating harden, majority hated kd for "the hardest move" and generally like lebron.

In general I feel like theres more casual than hardcore if so u would generally see harden plastered all across the map. Causals hate the floppy beard.

 

Again as I said it's the rival to me and let's be honest Lakers fans hate everyone and think they better then everyone.

No team can replace the hate I have for the Lakers. Not the Jazz or even golden state these past few years. Sure it's not the common rivalry others would see it as. But I do. I hate the Lakers like Yankees and redsox fans hate each other. The word hate for the Lakers isnt even the right word for them. I beyond hate the Lakers.

No hardcore fan of basketball hates Harden. Maybe people that claim to be a hardcore fan, but nobody that actually understands basketball hates him.
