He is such a piece of ****. It's honestly incredible this racist gasbag is President of the United States.
I think he's on something, or he's simply gone from corrupt businessman "elected" president to bat-s*** crazy. One or the other. Maybe both.
I typically counter the common trump supporter comment about polling failures in 2016... but this tweet does it better...
It's still amazing though, and we have to remember this. The democrat's final % will be 2-3 points lower than polls and Trump's will be 2-3 points higher, if not more. And that's simply because so many people know it is deeply embarrassing and telling to admit they are going to vote for such a version of a human being.
I had a nightmare recently that Trump lost the popular vote by over 5 million votes, but the electoral map ended up like this: If neither candidate gets a majority of the 538 electoral votes, the election for President is decided in the House of Representatives, with each state delegation having one vote. A majority of states (26) is needed to win. Senators would elect the Vice-President, with each Senator having a vote. Of course civil war erupted shortly thereafter. All was lost.
So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements! -- Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States.
don't think Pa nor Oh will vote for Trump again, both have been hurt badly by Trump's inept handling of the tariff situation. add Iowa, who has been hurt the most, that'd total 44 electoral votes
I think the hill in Ohio is too steep to climb. PA is in play, but that has been Trump's favorite playground so far and I can easily see it staying in his court. AZ/FL/NC are interesting reaches for Democrats IMO. All of this really depends on who the Democrats nominate. Another Hillary nominee who plays only to the coasts would spell disaster.
it doesn't matter who the candidate is the states that have been badly hurt by Trump inept trade policies will vote against him
This is dangerous thinking. Trump's only path to victory is the Democrats "just showing up" like they did last time. A bare minimum effort in the rust belt will not unseat him. It will empower him.
it is about the economic down-trodden in the rust belt, badly hurt by Trump's inept trade policies. Bc they tend to vote their pocket book, they're energized to fire the inept Trump
Were those rolleyes intentional...? If so, what do you mean by it? Assuming the entire Rust Belt will flip just because Trump's policies suck is not a gambit I'm willing to make. His policies sucked for the Rust Belt before he got elected and it didn't stop him from winning. You have to give those people something to vote for, otherwise they will continue supporting the only guy who seems to pay any attention to them. Let's not see a repeat of this. The ratings in AZ, OH, PA, VA, NC, and FL are far too close for comfort.
Other than two standing meetings trump has nothing on his official schedule today, so expect lots of tweets today... here he is going after enemy Google again (the result of his morning fox & friends strategy briefing).
Most hope this awful person would slink away in the annals of dishonesty... but no, here she is with more outright lies... heck, in response to Congressman Schiff's direct question, Mueller said:
