MadMax faints. In all seriousness, Morgan has excellent knowledge of the game and enjoys being around young players, so hopefully this works out. He's been trying to get back into the organization (in a non-playing role, of course) for some time. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Morgan Ensberg is returning to the <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23Astros">#Astros</a> organization as a roving instructor. Wow, number of times Astros batters take strike 3 looking will increase by tenfold this upcoming season.
Well he recently signed with the Twins as a pitcher. It feels weird hearing familiar names considering our entire organization has changed since the championship year; new owner, GM, players, farm system, new jerseys/mascot (back to the 80s).
i'm getting too old for this sh...stuff. Next thing, you're going to tell me backe is going to be the pitcher's coach. where does time go?
I love the thought of Everett working with the young infielders. Deshields still needs a lt of work defensively. Maybe Everett can help him make the improvements he needs. No one was better.
Don't see Adam Everett on any of the clubs. He must be a roving instructor. Morgan Ensberg is slated for the Infield Coach of the HiA Lancaster and not a roving instructor. McTaggart tweets might have put the "roving" tag on the wrong coach?
Everett will help both major and minor league infielders http://http://mobile.chron.com/chron/db_273430/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=kUHqlFWd They also added Vince Coleman as outfield/base running development specialist.
mr. uncoachable now a coach? have 'em looking good staring at the catcher's mitt with their bats on their shoulders, Mo.
Completely agree. I don't think Everett will ever be considered one of the elite shortstop of that time because he wasn't flashy enough, but no on was steadier. The guy just made every single play he was supposed to make.
