This is what happens when people that don't have strong basketball playing/and coaching experience are in power at the professional level.

Its basketball...everyone is a grown man. These players made it to highest level of basketball competition w/o "Moreyball ", so why all of a sudden tell them they can't shoot midrange shots etc etc.

It's basketball like Shaq says, Defense , Ball Movement , Free Throw Shooting , Star Power is how you win championships

    Not Moneyball.

sure you can use regular season stats to mislead someone into thinking the rockets were a good defensive team, but anybody can perform the eye test and tell you they are too undisciplined and come out with the pickup ball mentality.

It sucks if you have a squad filled with people who can't shoot free throws and threes.

Yeah, because all he did was put together a makeshift team that somehow got the 2 seed and advanced to the semifinals. Fire that guy.

    Absolute imbeciles on the GARM

So moreyball is the reason we giving up 120+ points a game?
    40+ point quarters?

Is Morey ball saying .. . don't set screens, don't cut, don't Rebound?

Man just be quiet. It took the spurs to lose to pelicans after kicking Houston's ass twice in a row for rockets to reach that spot. #shorttermmemoryissues

I've seen a lot of good assessments of our weaknesses on this board. Still haven't read a single thesis that suggests firing Morey would be a good idea. You're either wrong or the arguments being put together are flawed and/or shortsighted. It's one or the other.

Ah so 2nd in the west while still nursing tons of injuries means it's broken. Got it. I mean look, the only reason the Rockets improved from the rubble of the Tmac/Yao era was by the draft... Oh wait...

How many teams are ACTUALLY undoubtedly better than the Rockets out of 30?

News flash: this is real life with professional teams being constructed by professional front offices competing against one another. You could interview a million guys that might not do the job any better than Morey. The guy has done great and Harden isnt old.

Get off your 2K where it's pretty much guaranteed you'll win the Finals every time you play throughout the season if youre at least somewhat competent with video games.

No one knows what actually takes place in those offices. No one on this forum knows how to do a better job than him. He's competing against other teams. Don't be so freaking butthurt that we don't win every single ****ing game.
