I hope he does not sit on his laurels because honestly the only real star that he really brought himself is James Harden. And he lives and die by the Harden.

He helped with Dwight but we knew that HOFers, Milkhair and others recruited hard.

 

Something up our sleeve? Like that's gonna make us competitive with the Warriors? There is literally nothing that can be up Morey's sleeve that can even make us take one game from the Warriors in a 7 game series. Nothing.

I wouldn't be surprised if next season is one of the worst and least watched NBA regular seasons (and possibly playoffs) in the post-Jordan era. As much as I love the Rockets, I feel zero hype going into next season.

What is he supposed to say really?

I think a lot of GMs and players look at this and go "Oh, so this is how we're going to do this?"

You're going to see which stars REALLY want to win above all else. Is Paul George going to force his way to the Lakers to play in L.A or is he going to try and fit his way onto a team that already has all-stars.

Is Chris Paul going to resign with a team that is doing nothing or is he going to go to the Spurs or Pelicans for less for a chance at a chip.

You're going to see who really wants a ring and who's just here to play ball and collect as much money as they can.

Same for GMs/Owners, will they just happily pack it in and be content with playoff appearances or will they do all they can to build a team to match the warriors?

 

Does he mean roster moves or how they are playing on the court?

really, after seeing the Cavs perform this good, with 3 all stars on their roster and still lost the game 5, i doubt our players can do any better than that...... we need at least a second super star at least to have a chance to compete, otherwise, no chance
