Morey's plan involves Cleveland. Cavs want to get better as well as make us better to bother the Warriors.
So a three way trade with Indy that gets Cleveland Paul George, gets us Kevin Love, and Indy gets both teams' best assets......
    .......
    .......
    Unreliable sources

Exactly, what the Clippers need the most is someone other than Doc Rivers to coach and be the club runner. They have core, They have stars. The only option for them to win with what they have is a new coach. It is a bit late for them considering the huge payralls if they want to keep all their FAs, a huge mess and dilemma from Doc Rivers.

Nice 'work' if you can get it; and JJ'll get it.

Hard pass on Love, we already have a white boy that disappears when the pressure is on

Probably Melo. My guess is NYK would trade him straight up for Anderson.

That's a "risk on" move for us, and it's actually practical given the circumstances around both franchises.

    Anderson/Lou Will for Melo/O'Quinn

O'Quinn is an elite rebounder. Fits nicely given our style of play.

I recognize how risky a move like this could be, but needless to say, this isn't an ordinary offseason nor are we competing against an ordinary opponent.

Morey's secret plan may not be hiding just up his sleeves.

Even if we were able to add PG or Butler and Griffin, we'd still lose to GS.

FG% by itself doesn't tell you much.

That doesn't mean anything at all. The Cavs won a championship without their core not being drafted, the Heat, The Celtics, the Shaq/Kobe Lakers...there is a long list of teams that have.

JJ Redick (left arm tattoo sleeve)? Maybe Morey sent Ryno on a recruiting mission...

“Yeah planned well in advance, this is something I’ve wanted to do for a couple of years. I got a couple of forearm tattoos when I was really really bored during the NBA lockout. And specifically the one on my left arm I kind of wanted to make into a full sleeve for the last four years."

He does walk through the door sometimes, and then he takes a sit on the side of the court.

I miss the days when people said more positive things than negative wrap. We played better than we should have on paper. We almost swept a team with a serious MVP candidate. We can't really rebound yet we took the Spurs to 6 games when they have a bunch of giant rebounders. We did great considering. Now it's time to do better. Get a little better on paper and get better on the court. This is Houston basketball at its finest. Overplay, overproduce, and improve until you win the big one.

People wanted to abandon Hakeem, but keeping him and keeping faith in him and our Rockets paid off. It's the same with Harden. Just keep tweaking and we'll get there.

did this man just say the pelicans? To get a ring? So Chris Paul is going to want to go from a injured pf and overrated center to......a injured pf and a overrated center...with less experience and worse coach/depth

    Debatable.

Just saying, but the Spurs were up 1-0 on the road if Kawhi didn't get hurt...and Parker was out.

Man there are so many whiny LOSERS on the bbs these days.

WAAAA EVEN IF WE ADD JESUS AND MOSES WE CAN'T BEAT GS

GTFO with that stuff. If MDA was coaching the Cavs, that's at least a 7 game series. Switch coaching staffs between those two teams and suddenly we don't have to watch Irving make every single field goal attempt look like a contested last second shot. You start having poor ball/player movement on the Warriors.

The Warriors are the most talented team in the league, but not by the margin people make it out to be. Durant and Curry are incredible, but neither of them were as potent without each other, especially Durant. As if Paul George is no better than what he can produce on the eternally mediocre Pacers. As if Griffin is no better than his impact under a mediocre tactical coach. As if Curry would be as good against Bev as he was against Irving.

We are lacking talent, but talent alone is not going to beat GS and we saw that on full display on the Finals. Lebron James averaged a triple double being defended by a combination of Draymond, Durant, Iguodala and Klay. On top of that he has an elite scorer in Irving and in Kevin Love a guy who any team would have signed to the max when he joined the Cavs. Then there's Tristan Thompson, JR Smith, Shumpert, Deron, etc. They have PLENTY of talent, almost as much as the Warriors.

Moreover, DEFENSIVE TALENT IS TALENT. We can acquire better defensive talent than they posses. Let's say we get George and Millsap. We're still going to be 2nd best offense, but we could outshine them on defensive talent.

The only thing we have almost no chance of doing is becoming a better offensive team. Everything else is up for grabs. Defense, rebounding, ball movement, player movement, fitness, athleticism.

Thankfully we have a pioneer as GM rather than some old school buffoon who can do nothing but bend over despite having the true MVP of the league at age 27.
