Morey has done a great job of making us competitive during the Harden era. However for all the people who ride his jock over the one Harden trade please STOP! It’s plenty of GMs that have one or stars. This is a very crucial time when Harden in his prime. I just got in a healthy sports convo with a few Celtics and lakers fans that are friends when I was speaking on harden’s season. They of course said no rings he has to do it In the playoffs. However the problem is MOREY can never get this man a young star. It’s always a past their prime MAX CONTRACT player DWIGHT HOWARD - we threw a damn parade outside the Toyota center when we signed him. We literally hung a banner on the parking garage. CP3 - good guy but finessed us into 40mill a year gave away key trade pieces. Nothing major about that signing. Paul George, Butler, Irving, LMA, Durant... he couldn’t make it happen

LMA is the same age as Paul. Better to have an older star then no star. Harden would probably be gone right now if we never got him those guys. Don’t forget, with help of CP3 and Howard we have two WCF appearances in the West. Last year we’re a CP3 injury away from the championship.

Morey was the only GM last year to put a team together that could threaten one of the greatest teams in the history of the NBA.

This has got to be Morey's biggest shortcoming along with his subpar draft record. He's still a good GM no doubt, but not the best.

We get Harden and make the WCF with Dwight. Not enough. We run into the silver spooned Golden Boy and his band of gentrified ingrates. Hoardes of faux laker fans jump across the wall to hop on the Warriors bandwagon. Little Chinese boys are dabbing on the streets of Shanghai. We regroup, get Chris Paul, become the first team to snatch the 1 seed from the four all stars in four years. We take a 3-2 lead. CP goes down. We lose. Incel trolls on reddit spew enough vitriol out way to power a small Eastern European country. It’s called Latvia. Now, we are performing below expectations and everybody is injured. The trolls rejoice harder. James Harden puts up videogame numbers. They do everything in their power to undermine his performance. If these rockets ever go onto win a championship, it’ll be the same thing as when we won in 93-95. Any injury on the warriors will be blown way out of proportion as the excuse. The NBA will be abnormally weak. This championship will have had extenuating circumstances. Asterisks galore. Screw the bicoastal online trolls. Go out there. Do well in the world. Accumulate capital. Be somebody. And then preach the glories of Houston from wherever you are. We are waging a battle of propaganda right now and the only solution is IRL success.
