Okay assume rockets reserved 6m of their available salary cap for ish smith, who else do you propose to get with the remaining available money???

What will the final team look like for next year?

We've had him on our team multiple times, his game doesn't pair well with James Harden so what's the point of signing him to the team? I'd rather have a PG that can shoot/pass and defend on an average level. If Harden learned to play off the ball.. then I could agree with you on possible signing Ish Smith, but as of right now Harden is our best passer/scorer so by taking the ball out of his hands you effectively cripple the offense that much more.

Mike D'Antoni will only be able to work so many miracles. In order for his offense to work we need players that can shoot and spread the floor. Ish is not one of those ideal players.

ridicule me all you want. idgaf. when next season is played through and Ish Smith is doing well for the Pistons, I'll bump this thread again. yeah $6m for a quality, productive PG is wayyy too much  We need star PGs like Chris Paul, oh wait...I mean Damian Lillard, oh hmmm...err Russell West..nvm. Lets just keep Beverly so we can play 4 on 5 and pretend that we dont need a productive PG. Trust in Morey and all that jazz

I think Morey standing pat so far is a good sign, likely means we have a real chance at a bigger domino(can) that yet the to fall ;)

I find it hilarious that people want Ish Smith but would absolutely die from the thought of trading for Rubio.

Rather have Eric Gordon than either of those guys. Or Lance Stephenson if another "point" is needed.
