MJ had a huge competitive streak.....well he still does.

He wanted to be the best....and being the best meant, in his opinion, beating the other top players in the league. Not teaming up with them.

But like he said, time are different.

Thankfully I got to see the tail end of Jordan's career, Hakeem, Timmy D, Shaq (when he was dominant) and......even Kobe  I glad I got to see true competitors in their primes and didn't have to grow up in the age of LeDiva

*Flame suit on for lost Miami/LeDiva fans*

MJ stayed there and demanded that Chicago go out and get talented players. They didn't just show up out of the blue. MJ played his dues and got on his GM/ team owner to get the job done.

And this is why Jordan will always be one of the GOATs because he fought hard to be the best...

LeBron cant even tie Jordans shoes.

"There's no way, with hindsight, ..."

The hindsight being, of course, that he won 6 championships without having to change teams.

The funny thing is even if Lebron had the luxury of having the same hindsight, he might still pick to play in Miami with his buddies. He just isn't built with the same insatiable competitive fire that Kobe and Jordan possessed.

Except for an owner who's willing to spend $100 million in player salaries and a team that's won 60+ reg season games in the past two seasons.

Bron would not sign an extended contract with the Cavaliers, so it was hard for that team to recruit top talent to come and play with him. Nobody is going to sign up with a team and they don't know if the main guy is planning to stay there himself.

    Different era.. different game..

Jordan as great as he was, had a much better team on the championship Bulls.. The league top to bottom wasn't as good or deep as it is now either.

Jordan, the GOAT, would he have won 6 championships with Lebron's Cavs of last season? I don't think so.. Although he probably would have won the one Lebron lost in the Finals. Bottom line is, Cavs peaked and weren't gonna get any better.

MJ has always seemed to have it in for lebron, it must suck to have your idol despise you for no reason.

Lebron, Bosh, Wade vs. MJ, Magic, Bird.

    Who wins?

I personally have no problem with them teaming up. Their legacy is clear...

So you're saying that MJ would have beat the Spurs when that the Cavs lost 4-0 (and it wasn't even that close)? Then you're saying he wouldn't have been able to help a team that lost in 6 in the conference finals?

If you don't think Jordan could win with the Cavs team of last year how do you think he would win with the Cavs team that made the finals?

The Cavs team he has had the last 2 years is better than the Cavs team that made the finals. The year they made the finals the East wasn't as good as it was the last 2 years.
