Great. Now we can watch the suckiest team on a huge HD tv, just what I wanted.

Might be physical space limitations, who knows. A quick google search shows the Braves as the largest at 72x80. But the dimesnions in the article would actually put the MMP new board at about a 1000 more sq feet, probably just more of a widescreen look.

Asking for 650 mill is not what I would call a fire sale.

Wouldn't say fire sale but would say he is trying to increase the value of the team and MMP for a prospect buyer. It sounds almost like getting a new ballpark and this could be enough to bring back the casual fan thus increase revenue numbers. This could make the 650 million dollar price tag a tad more acceptable and having a good team win playoff contention would be the ideal scenario to sell the club.

This is good, the current big screen looks really dated compared to what the other ballparks have now. I'm excited to see it.

...will become a secondary Diamond Club if you will, kind of a funky club space for young, hip Houstonians."

If anyone knows young, funky & hip, it's her.

Looks like a mock up from the chronicle.

What I hate about baseball is that they don't have a live video board. They just put a picture of that person and their stats.

The ballpark has changed in it's 11 years. There used to not be a 360 ribbon board. There used to not be a video screen above the crawford box. There was no citgo sign. The roof had less mold.
