Wow. This is going to be a fun matchup in the Western Conference. My dream is to see, "...the most talented team I have ever played on..." get eliminated in the 1st round, and I think Minnesota is very capable of that. I don't see anyone on the Portland frontline being able to stop Garnett. Brandon is healthy for once, and he can really attack Stoudamire off those screens.

Wouldn't it be great to see the $74million Blazers crumble?

    $42million. 7 years.

I wonder how much Rasheed will be playing Garnett. That's one hell of a matchup right there that I'd love to watch.

Portland should take care of business. Anthony should do a good job on Brandon. Portland better win, because if LA makes it to the Conference Finals, I don't want them going up against Utah or Minnesota.

I'm very happy with the way the western conference seedings ended up. Lakers will play Sacramento, which should be harder than Seattle. Portland vs. Minnesota is also the perfect match-up. I think Minn. has a good chance at an upset and I hope to see it. Even if the Lakers do take the championship, at least Pippen will be humiliated. And San Antonio (my favorite for the championship) got homecourt over Phoenix so hopefully that will be a sufficiently easy series to keep SA rested for LA. I hope Duncan can play.

Remember at the beginning of the season when some posters here chastised others (myself included) for saying that Portland can't win with Pippen? They haven't lost yet, of course, but it doesn't now look like we gave them the championship with that trade.

    Go Spurs!

Portland doesn't have a dominant player at any position, so doubtful they can go to the Finals. Twolves could easily pull off the upset. Too bad that the orginal casting of Tom G, Stephon M and Kevin G couldn't have stayed together.
