Wow. This is going to be a fun matchup in the Western Conference. My dream is to see, "...the most talented team I have ever played on..." get eliminated in the 1st round, and I think Minnesota is very capable of that. I don't see anyone on the Portland frontline being able to stop Garnett. Brandon is healthy for once, and he can really attack Stoudamire off those screens. Wouldn't it be great to see the $74million Blazers crumble? ------------------ $42million. 7 years.
Wasn't this year's team the most talented team Dream ever played on? I hope we show that next season... It would be great, though. I can't believe Scottie still thinks he's such a great player. They'll never win. They have no leaders... ------------------ Nederland 2000 NBA+stupidity=Brand ROY NBA+common sense=Franchise MVP Houston Rockets Space Center- Not just another ClutchCity.NET clone. I wonder how much Rasheed will be playing Garnett. That's one hell of a matchup right there that I'd love to watch. ------------------ <this space for rent>
Portland should take care of business. Anthony should do a good job on Brandon. Portland better win, because if LA makes it to the Conference Finals, I don't want them going up against Utah or Minnesota. ------------------ "Okay KG, next time down, you give Cousin Billy his turn, then he'll give Uncle Joe his turn, then we'll give Shaq a turn." -Rudy T, in the Dream Team 2000 huddle
I'm very happy with the way the western conference seedings ended up. Lakers will play Sacramento, which should be harder than Seattle. Portland vs. Minnesota is also the perfect match-up. I think Minn. has a good chance at an upset and I hope to see it. Even if the Lakers do take the championship, at least Pippen will be humiliated. And San Antonio (my favorite for the championship) got homecourt over Phoenix so hopefully that will be a sufficiently easy series to keep SA rested for LA. I hope Duncan can play. Remember at the beginning of the season when some posters here chastised others (myself included) for saying that Portland can't win with Pippen? They haven't lost yet, of course, but it doesn't now look like we gave them the championship with that trade. Go Spurs! ------------------
Portland doesn't have a dominant player at any position, so doubtful they can go to the Finals. Twolves could easily pull off the upset. Too bad that the orginal casting of Tom G, Stephon M and Kevin G couldn't have stayed together. Mango ------------------ The Serious Police are watching Donate Blood
