    Texas Rising is an upcoming History Channel 8-part television miniseries based on the Texas Revolution against Mexico and how the Texas Rangers were created. It is directed by Roland Joffé and due on Memorial Day, May 25, 2015. The series stars Bill Paxton, Chad Michael Murray, Darby Hinton, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Brendan Fraser, Olivier Martinez and Cynthia Addai-Robinson.

    Looks like a bunch of decent actors putting in a modicum of effort. I'll watch regardless.

    I think I saw four of these things in school, then the Quaid and Patric one a few years ago. I wonder if they could ever make one about Spindletop, the space program, et al.
