Given the limited preseason games he played for Rockets, I am impressed by his hustles and frankly a bit disappointed that he didn't get to play for an NBA team this season. I just do a yahoo search and I am pretty sure that Mike eventually signed with a CBA team called DongGuan Leopard (they only showed a translated name in his player profile, not his name in English). I respect hardworking players and I believe a number of Cluthfans here like Mike Harris too. So here are his figures so far: Code: Date Result/Opp GS PT FG 3PT FT OREB DREB AST STL BLK TO PF PTS ========== ================== == ===== ===== ===== ===== ==== ==== === === === == == === 2007-11-25 W112-105 @LiaoNing Y 28:24 16/21 0/1 3/5 2 3 2 0 1 1 2 35 2007-11-23 W97-90 @JiLing Y 29:55 7/16 1/2 0/0 4 9 2 3 4 3 4 17 http://cba.sports.sina.com.cn/player_one.php?id=693 Best wishes for every success in CBA, Mike!
Thanks, I was wondering where he was after the Rockets cut him. I really hope they can find a way to bring him back.
I wonder how he's adapting to living in China. Especially with the food and language. Maybe one day he'll come back to the Rockets and teach Tmac how to use chopsticks. Best wishes to him.
i might be wrong, but i remember reading something that average nba players (not superstars) averaged around 35-40 + in the cba. you guys remember alex scale? he was in our training camp, but got cut for mike wilks. he averaged 25 points the year where he was cut, if i remember correctly.
Thanks for the work in finding Mike!! I hope that he can come back and play for us at some point. Course, I thought that about Azubuike too, but he ended up elsewhere.. darn it! If you get any more updates please let us know. I will try to continue searching for him, but I am guessing if its in Chinese I won't be any help.

Couldn't edit my first post in this thread, so I would just cut and paste Mike Harris's latest stats here: Code: Date Result/Opp GS PT FG 3PT FT OREB DREB AST STL BLK TO PF PTS ========== ================== == ===== ===== ===== ===== ==== ==== === === === == == === 2007-11-27 W132-124 @ShanDong Y 30:56 08/14 1/3 9/10 3 7 2 0 1 5 2 28 2007-11-25 W112-105 @LiaoNing Y 28:24 16/21 0/1 3/5 2 3 2 0 1 1 2 35 2007-11-23 W97-90 @JiLing Y 29:55 7/16 1/2 0/0 4 9 2 3 4 3 4 17 http://cba.sports.sina.com.cn/player_one.php?id=693
Mike is putting up pretty good numbers, even though its still not against NBA level talent. This guy could be our Jamario Moon if we could shape up our roster and open a spot for him.

numbers lie, watch him play and you'll see, mediocre. gets a lot of easy buckets in the warriors scheme.
Well he is one of the few getting easy buckets the way they play is simply horrible to watch. Steven Jackson and his stupidity are put up with, the guy has no consciense and is a turnover machine yet...the team flourishes with him out there. Amazing. DD
