I wish I had the play from last night's game on youtube, but Chris Paul was getting so frustrated with Conley's ball pressure that he throw Conley to the ground with his off hand and was called for an offensive foul. Conley is the epitome of the underrated player, he is almost like a foil to Westbrook, Paul and Parker, in the same way the Detroit Pistons were a foil to Michael Jordan back in the day. In another words, Conley is good enough to be in the same class as Westbrook, Parker and Paul.
'what' apparently feels it's his duty to educate rockets fans on everything about the grizzlies all the time and MAKE them appreciate their players hilarious
Conly a little under the radar but he will never be on the level of Westbrook,Paul,Parker, and Telfair
How long until what tried to convince us that the Grizzlies' style of play suppresses Conley's numbers below the levels of Paul, Westbrook, et al.?
Conley is great, grizzlies are great, everyone wants to play the grizzlies until they play the grizzlies... etc.
he is not limited on offense as you think. in march (and since the rudy gay trade) conley is averaging 16.7 points, 9 assists, 2.6 steals a game, all the while shooting 50% from the field and playing lockdown defense. again, you can call it hyperbolic if you want to, but Mike's defensive abilities is head and shoulders above Parker, Westbrook and Paul. And it ain't close. But now he is adding 50% shooting and 17 points a game and nearly 10 dimes a game and nearly 3 steals a game. call it what you want.
