Not happening, the Maloofs won't trade with us just out of spite because of Adelman. Remember, that's why they refused to even consider trading Artest to us

Not to mention Bibby's ridiculous contract and the fact that outside of shooting jumpshots, he can't do a damn thing. His defense is much worse than Alston's. His court vision was never really anything great (it never had to be considering the offense ran through Webber/Vlade). And he can't dribble penetrate any better than Alston can, in fact he's much slower.

Pass pass pass, Bibby is nothing like the guy he used to be. He's been on a statistical slide for a little while, and he's injured on top of that.

If he is 7 years younger he would be something Rockets seek the most.
    Right now,not really.

Mike bibby is one of the most overrated players in the last ten years. he was good in the kings' system because he's a good shooter, who takes care of the ball. but divac and webber were better passers than him in the system.

Rafer and James are both older than Bibby, and they both have 3-year contracts totaling $10 million this year, while Bibby's is up in 2 years. Yeah, they'd get to take Snyder off the books after one season, but what does an extra $3 million get you? Nothing. They get no young players in return, and they add another year of contracts before they get real cap relief.

    Makes no sense at all.

Umm... what else do we really need from our pg?

A vetran who knows the system, can shoot the 3 very well and can take care of the ball...

Sounds pretty good to me. I dont know what your trying to get at.

Problem is though that i dont think we can take on his contract..

It would be worse if he opt out after just 1 season. that's like throwing MJ,Rafer and Novak away. I wouldn't expect him to opt out and sign a dirt-cheap deal with Rockets.

That sounds like Kenny Smith. You want to play 10+ million dollars for that? And this BBS will go crazy, we whine about Rafer's lack of defense but wait till you see Bibby. You'll seriously cry every night as the Smush Parkers and Tyrone Lue's of the NBA have career nights.

I liked Bibby back in Sacramento's glory years but the guy has been exposed the last few years as a one dimensional jumpshooter with no other redeeming qualities.

To add to that, Bibby looks to me like a one-dimensional jumpshooter who can't even stay healthy and hit a respectable percentage of his shots now.

    Washed up has-been. Pass.
