On top of that on the front page of ESPN today there's a big article titled "the driving force of Russell Westbrook" - "The Mystique of Westbrook."

Like, I mean...Harden is fighting an uphill battle.

 

Is there a list of MVP voters somewhere?

I have said it before, I have said it since Westbrook came into the league, and I'll say it again: Ever since we all got to see what Westbrook keeps between his ears instead of brains, *No team which features Russell Westbrook will EVER win a title. Period. So, if he hangs on at the end of his career and steps in as some kind of bench guy on a championship team, that doesn't count. No team with him as a lead dog will ever win a ring.*

personally, I'm unsure about the championship part but regardless of how people feel about wb, this year proved he could impact winning while being the best player on a team. So that could be put to rest. They lost one of the best players in the league and will likely hit around 45 wins still. That's a lot more than what other guys can say around the league that people seem to drool over, who put up numbers but they don't translate to W's

 

The Rockets last year went 41-41.

This off season the Rockets lost their second best player.

The Rockets are likely to finish with 56-59 wins.

That is a massive turnaround.

 

The problem is Beadle is the HOST of ESPN NBA Countdown. As the host of that pregame show she should not be showing favoritism as she drives the bus and the discussion on the show. That's my big gripe with her.

 

She is a good host, but she has no qualifications at all in regards to basketball. She was not hired for her experience or insight.
