From Murphy's article in the Chronicle:

Rim shots -- While anybody with even a tangential relationship with the NBA is still bound by league rules to speak in reverent tones whenever Michael Jordan's name is brought up, the same cannot be said of Scottie Pippen, Jordan's former sidekick (who put the TO in Tonto with his late turnover Friday 3 that led to the Blazers' loss).

The latest is from Jazz center Olden Polynice, who said: "Like Charles Barkley said, `Why wasn't (Pippen) committed when he was in Houston, instead of running off to Portland?' He's still living on the six rings. But there was a guy named Michael who did that." ...

Calvin and Olden are entitled to their opinions, but...

I had to laugh at the look on Polly-grip's face when he watched the shot that killed his team sink in with 7 seconds to go. No wonder he had nothing to say after the game. [IMG]

It's an absolute warzone in my house; I live with Rocket fans, Knick fans, and Laker fans.
