Here's the story: Irvin jailed Ex-Cowboy arrested on drug charges Aug 9, 2000 6:03 p.m. ET FOXSports.com PLANO, Texas — Former Dallas Cowboys' wide receiver Michael Irvin may have ended his football career, but he hasn't retired from being in trouble. Irvin was arrested Wednesday by federal agents on drug charges after FBI agents raided an apartment complex looking for another suspect. Officials told KXAS-TV here that agents and police went into an apartment looking for a woman. They apparently found Irvin and another woman, but not the original suspect. They also apparently found a small amount of drugs that officials have yet to identify publicly. Details are still sketchy, but reports indicate Irvin and the woman were taken to jail. The retired Cowboys star was falsely accused of sexual assault in 1996.
