Well position less basketball is more of an ideal than something that everyone can do. It's becoming sort of catch phrase to say. There are certain skills needed to really play positionless basketball in the full meaning, everyone must be able to shoot, pass, handle, score and be versatile on defense. The reality for most teens is the this isn't truly happening and it a lot of teams just want to be able to do something like the defensively.

Offensively, many players still need to be more restricted and focused instead of trying to be jack of all trades who are below average at everything. If Bruno had shown NBA level versatility so far, okay, but right now you want him to just have some skills he is actually solid at instead of trying to be some super dynamic player.

Imagine how good the second team will be with Jimmy B.

Trust me I fully understand your argument, however, if we are speaking team wise that’s why teams are successful bc they have players that can guard multiple positions. Bruno has had 4 years to master 1 and hasn’t done that. Of course it takes some players a lot longer to find a role in the NBA (PJ Tucker and Gerald Green) to name a few. But I honestly don’t see anything he can do to help right now.

That was kind of my point, I don't disagree that he isn't good. What I was also trying to say is that a guy who can't even be decent enough at one position at the NBA level should not aim to first try and be a versatile do it all guy. He needs baby steps, he needs to first find a role/position that he is useful at in the NBA before, adding other things. Guarding multiple positions on defense is something he can already do, but can he do it well? I don't know, but he needs to work on big man skills in the D-league as he can transform himself into a useful big with perimeter skills instead of being a bad SF.
