Check this out to see if you have what it takes to be an intellectualist(muw). http://www.mensa.org/workout.html And post your scores just for fun too. 22...those anagrams are impossible ------------------ [This message has been edited by Rickem (edited October 05, 2000).]
I got 27 out of 30. I couldn't figure out numbers 7, 19, and 28. I must admit that I got the first one for wrong reasons. I still think mine made sense though (highlight to read): 2+2+5= 9 Likes it. 2+2+4= 8 Doesn't like it. 9+0+0= 9 Likes it. 8+0+0= 8 Doesn't like it. 1+4+4= 9 Likes it. 1+4+5= 10 Doesn't like it. Which one does she like? 1600 or 1700?
Answer: 1600 Reason given: She likes perfect squares. My reason: She doesn't like even numbers. As, 1+7+0+0= 8 And 1+6+0+0= 7
------------------ Nederland 2002 Qualifying Campaign (Damn those penalties!!!) The first one was one of the few that jumped out at me right away. I did very poorly, but I also was rushing to get through and didn't think about several of the questions. If it didn't come to me right away, I skipped it. (I ended up with a 19, by the way. In case anyone was wondering) ------------------ Houston Sports Board DFW Sports Board

How long is a battleship True or False ------------------ I'm not the type to eat it up but the type to hit it raw dog and seed it up.
Both work. I guess they didn't see the other possibility when creating the test. As far as anyone lying, I have to say that I believe what everyone has said so far. It would be pretty idiotic to lie about your score. I think the liar would probably not post at all, as an extremely high score from a bad poster will draw a lot of doubters. I guess you could say I got a 26, if you don't accept my reason for the first one. How long is a battleship? I've never heard of a ship by that name, so I can't say with absolute certainty, but seeing that it's trick question I'm going to say true. ------------------ Nederland 2002 Qualifying Campaign (Damn those penalties!!!) I'm going to say False. How(ie) Long is a former football player. ------------------ Houston Sports Board DFW Sports Board [This message has been edited by mrpaige (edited October 05, 2000).]
