He looks like he can play. We would never sign him though. His name sounds too close to Utah.

I hope he makes it in the league. He could be an end of the bench guy. Can shoot and defend a little at 6`9.

Watanabe better watch out for Chandler Parsons. CP might not be able to handle the competition for handsome.

It could be a match made in heaven if they get along. Parsons can hook Yuta up with white chicks. Yuta can hook Parsons up with Asian chicks. Win win

There is also a not insignificant chance they could just cut out the middle-men, skip the chicks and just hook up with each other.

It's only highlights and it was summer league at that, but looks like the guy can play. He has good hands, is unselfish, sees the floor and makes correct reads, seems to have a decent 3-point shot.

He has good instincts on blocking shots. That can't be taught.

I wonder if he can stay in front of people after PnRs. Can he clean the glass in traffic? From the C position, (1) can he protect the rim as well as someone like Draymond Green and (2) can he keep opposing Cs away from the offensive glass?

I wish him the best. It would be great to have a Japanese player join the NBA and succeed.

He showed really good lateral quickness, too. Granted, it was against SL wings, but still.

Moves awkwardly when breaking his defender down in a 1-on-1 situation, but hey, if the ball goes in, there should be no complaints.

Due to the Chinese-Japanese conflict, moreknee didn't want to run the chemistry in the locker room, thats why he wasn't signed to replace Ariza.

Actually, Morey understands the NBA's market inefficiency is such that it undervalues black players. This is why he has focused on signing black players in summer.
