Couple things pop in my head with this decision.

Did more evidence of wrong doing pop up ?

Is he in danger of not being eligible because of academics when the semester ends and just says **** it and starting getting ready for the draft ?

Anyone else watch Tulsa crush Memphis 80-40 last night? Is Tulsa this good or is Memphis a bit overrated?

Memphis has been sliding ever since they lost their best player Wiseman who could be the top pick in the draft. that was a huge unexpected loss for their program but considering their ridiculous offseason, not a surprise.

Tulsa is a good competitive team. they just beat UH like a week ago.

I was aware they lost Wiseman but look at all the other top recruits they still have. We don't play them until the end of Feb and then again first part of March. This Memphis team was the team I thought we would have the most trouble with. They still have Precious Achiuwa and several other good players. I watched parts of the game and from what I saw Tulsa had their way with them from start to finish.

I know Tulsa beat us but it is a game we should have won. Tulsa is a team now that has now strummed two pretty good teams in Memphis and Temple but got beat by Cincinnati by 31 recently. They also lost to to UTA earlier in the year by double figures. Looking forward to our rematch against Tulsa on Feb 19th. In the meantime we need to take care of business between now and then beginning tonight against UCONN.

they may be "top rated" recruits but when the head of the snake gets cutoff and unexpectedly, that has taken its toll. Add it's also on how the team responds when such an event happens. and we're seeing them drop off since it's happened. memphis is likely to drop from the rankings this week even though they have all these other "top recruits"

whether we should have won doesn't really matter. they're tough/competitive and as of now are sitting a top the conference.
