I'd rather Gasol-Melo paired up in LAL than NY. Boost the value on that Pels pick.

It has been posted in the other Melo threads, though it is easy to miss them.

Lol, good luck melo. Gasol is 33 by the way and you have to unload amare to get more of a supporting cast. he tried so hard to get there from denver, loves ny too much, i guess.

This is nothing new. It's been rumored for weeks, but if Pau turns NY down, I can see Melo leaving.

Trust me man, I'm all about not starting new threads for the same news. But the thread size of those other topics is absurd. It wouldn't be as bad if you didn't have to cycle through garbage posts like people saying "First", "lol", magical starting line ups warping players who aren't even rumored to our team, "It's happening GIF." 80% of the posts on most these threads are junk. Look at the Jeremy Lin Jersey thread. I agree with what clutch said "its not a big deal."

The odds of Gasol going to the Knicks seems pretty slim. They can only offer him $3mil(mini MLE). Both the Spurs and the Thunder are offering $5.5mil(full MLE). Other teams have made even bigger offers.

How do you take an article about Melo talking to Gasol into Melo staying in New York?

Ever thought he doesn't want to move his family and is hoping he can recruit Gasol and others so he can stay in New York and have a chance to win.

It means he would like to stay but winning is still a priority and if New York can't bring in help he is willing to leave.

I agree wholeheartedly. I wish we had a sticky post that only allowed news to be posted. As in verified twitter people (Woj, Clutch, Amick, Bima, etc). As well as news/columns other articles mentioning the Rockets and so on.
