No, not Vassilis Spanoulis, but Ioannis Antetokoumpo.

The quality of these clips sucks, as it's home cameras at high school games type stuff, but you will get the general idea.

This guy is 18 years old, and would be a high school senior in USA. He's a 6-9 point guard/point forward with a 7-3 wingspan. Since he's an international player, he's 2013 NBA draft eligible.

Ioannis has a 20 year old brother, Thanasis Antetokoumpo (would be like a junior in NCAA in USA), that is also 2013 NBA draft eligible. He's a 6-7 shooting guard/small forward. He's a terrific dunker and shot blocker.

Anyway, if the Houston Rockets draft one of these guys, then the Morey only fans won't be able to make the usual claim that, "Morey found this guy all by himself out of nowhere".

Him holding the ball like Tmac did at the beginning would fool a casual fan. Looked like a carbon copy at that moment. In general, there are some similarities, but it is too early to tell if he is another tmac.

I hope that he kept up with developing his goat herding skills. Don't want to put all his eggs in the NBA basket. Must be practical about career options in Greece.

Nice clip - I didn't know they broadcast US high school games in Greece- other than on ham radio which is their version of "internet"

Bleh... Not very quick or explosive and has mediocre body control. Maybe he can make a living selling used tires in Greece.

That's funny, considering it was high school games in GREECE, not the USA.

The games of the Athenian U18 league are proving to be quite popular among NBA scouts and even higher ranking team officials. Of course, the reason behind that is Giannis Adetocunbo and on Tuesday night the game of the U18 team of Filathlitikos against the one of Amyntas is going to be held in front of a select audience.

NBA scouts from the Nets, the Blazers and the Clippers will be present, but the most prominent figure in the stands will be Oklahoma City’s general manager, Sam Presti (photo), who is touring Europe this week and after his stops in France for Gobert and Jaiteh and in Serbia for the game between Crvena Zvezda and Dario Saric’s Cibona, he arrived in Greece.

    ----------------------------------

The Lakers and Celtics have also already been there in person to watch him workout.

...Tragically, Presti's trip was cut short when the goat refereeing the game flashed him an evil eye, and his hosts advised him to return to his hotel room (if a barn stall counts as a hotel room...) and bathe in garlic and feta while rotating counterclockwise in order to avoid a future injury to Kevin Durant.

Giannis Adetokunbo really dominated the opposition in this game, as he flashed a solid set of all-around skills. He's a tall, 6-9 ball handler who can really score off drives and cuts to the basket, was efficient in making threes, can score on a put back, and also can get out to score in transition. Adetokunbo also can run point or play off of the ball, as he did a good job of passing and handling the ball.

    Giannis Adetokoubo (1994, SF, Nigeria/Greece, 6’9”, Filathlitikos)

Adetokoubo has amazing physical skills, rapidity and athleticism, combined with the ability to play basically four roles on the court. He’s rather raw from a technical standpoint, and he definitely needs to work on his shot, but the ceiling is huge.

You've got to feel sorry for this kid - he left Nigeria in search of a better life in Europe, and instead he ended up in Greece. D'oh...! That's like fleeing Iran and ending up in Afghanistan.

Nigeria is worse than greece? Internet scam operations do bring in the extra revenue if you compare the two countries.
