Like Kyle Lowry, sometimes people need to decompress.

We have to have the quietest arena in the whole league.

except those are the very same loudmouths that fill the lower bowl at MSG every single game--and the Knicks haven't had a decent team in, well, forever. You can't have it both ways. ;)

Then our players should have no trouble focusing on the game.

Two Steps to solve this problem:

    1) Don't allow corporations to own more than 2 or 3 seats on a row.

    2) Pack up and move the arena west a bit. Doesn't have to be in Katy as per Ziggy's wish, but put it more towards where most people live.

The first one is doable but only if Les wants it down. Would drive down ticket prices for the lower bowl and probably lower his revenue stream though, so I don't see it happening.

Beer promotions are the remedy for this issue. Fix it, Les.

Blaming the fans is a subtle and gentle way of telling his players, they did not play hard.

This is a message to the players delivered with charmin.

The noise is only great during the play-offs, so we don't scare anyone. Our crowd is a non-factor, so doesn't really matter if the seats are filled or not.

I agree, they should play hard regardless, he should've keep this (weak asf) argument for himself, pretty pathetic if he really tried to justify a shitty game like this dumping something on the fans...hell, the freaking Nets without a reason to play at this point are playing harder than the Rockets smdh...

Tickets are too high. The Rockets need to cut down the prices so the REAL fans can come watch them. Every time I go to a game you can tell the ppl there aren't really there for the game

Mike AntioniO has an eight choiced Spin the Wheel going on after every loss on the reasons

    1. Our defense was bad. Not my fault. Ask Jeff Biglydick about it.
    2. Our crowd never shows up on time.
    3. We lost our legs. Ask Keith Jones about it.
    4. We ran out of Gatorade for the players.
    5. I wanted DMo. Ask Maury about it.
    6. I have 5 useless players on the bench. It's up to the GM to find me a good bench.
    7. The players didn't execute what we had planned for this game.
    8. This is not a valid option. Please spin again.

Thing is if you are in the lower bowl and try to carry a vibe, i.e. get into the game the suits look @ you like your drunk or on drugs...

Sure, it gives you plenty of time if you live Downtown, or don't work, or have groovy magical powers that avoid the tremendous traffic and long distances to travel that Houston offers free of charge, or have Scotty's ghost beam you up and set you down in the Toy Box after a bit of time travel from the future. Oh, and have a strong desire to eat the wonderful cheap food at the arena. Nothing to it.

Moving tip off to 7:30 would help tremendously. I went to the Rockets/Hawks game, I got out of work about 6pm (I work on Allen Parkway, close to downtown), met my friend downtown at 6:30, scarfed down some food as fast as we could, parked, and got through the gates by about 7:20. There were hundreds of people still going through the gates. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for someone who lives in the suburbs to get his kids after work on a weeknight then hustle back to Toyota Center by 7pm. It's too much.

So you don't think the Toyota Center brings no energy to the team and isn't an issue? Other teams like OKC, and GS have crazy fanbases, A few teams normally have rabid fan bases, but have just sucked so much that no one cares like the Kings and Blazers. Watch a Spurs home game in the 2nd quarter and then watch the Rockets 4th quarter. You will see what I mean.

The Rockets, for years, have been as good or better on the road as they are at home. I think this is a huge issue. Our fans never bring energy to the arena. Players go through the motions and other teams can communicate and rotate more effectively because they can hear each other.
